I caught a flu so I have stayed home past two days eating yellow melons and watching dramas. I went out quickly today to buy some water and grape soda and oh the weather was so hot again. Easy to forget that when you stay indoors with air con.

Is no secret or a joke that I’m greatly into 70’s disco & soul music. It’s something that makes my heart flutter and gives me goose bumps. Honestly makes me happier every time I hear it. No wonder I was excited when I found a mixtape called “The Sound of Seoul” by Dj Soulscape around two years ago. 50 minutes of old Korean disco & soul, pure gold and diamonds to my ears. Also so fresh after listening to mostly American (of course not only) ones for years. There’s also one more mixtape by him released last year and it’s called “More Sound of Seoul”. Unfortunately I don’t know where to buy these outside Korea. Anyway be sure to check out the video below.

Me and my 82days project is featured in the latest issue of ELLEgirl Korea. I can’t translate word to word, but I can tell I seem to talk about friend’s grandmother in Jeju island, tofu & bean buns, summer nights in Finland, cute cafés, population in Seoul and in Finland and how film is still better than digital. When I bought the mag I was quite close to telling the lady behind the desk, “Ajumma (Korean for older lady), it’s me in the magazine!”

Let me tell you, past 3 weeks I have only been hanging out with guys. Nothing wrong with that, but I was so happy to get together with YoungDoo yesterday afternoon. She is a photo lover like myself so we visited photo lab, film store & toy camera shop in Chungmuro. We also had some delicious tea and before heading back home had snacks in mmmg cafe. ♥
